Wouldn’t surprise me. And I’m sure of one thing - if indeed such a DVD exists, he will stop at nothing to see to it that DVD is found and destroyed.

I bet conservatives would still support him even if it was released. No doubt they’d find some way to make it fit in their distorted worldview.

People are always saying “Trump is doing [something] to distract us from [something].”

Nope. There’s no strategy. He’s a chaotic narcissist, and his constant blathering is purely reactionary.

He’s not playing chess. He’s not even playing tic tac toe.

scary part is that he still wins because he has the press ready to back him up

David Remnick: “Republicans and Independents, evangelicals, and many others who might have voted for Trump in 2016 will eventually have to ask themselves whether it is possible to go on believing that he is a man of sufficient character to hold the Presidency. They will have to ask themselves what it means to overlook his racism and what this says about them. How can they believe it is possible to support a racist and escape that in themselves? Or will they pronounce themselves, as the Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, did, ‘not concerned’?”

or maybe they wont ask themselves
that way everything will be just fine…

Even today, racism is prevalent around the world, if we allow “racism” to be broadly defined as hating others who look different than your own particular in-group.

Trumpworld yo:

Jason Miller, a former Trump official, gave deposition that he regularly hired prostitutes, got sexual favors at massage parlors, etc., all as part of a deposition in his case against Gizmodo.

The suit accuses Gizmodo of defaming Miller with a story citing an allegation he slipped an “abortion pill” to a Florida strip club dancer he impregnated. The story was based on a sealed court filing. Miller denies the allegation and claims the story is untrue. The lawsuit also names individual defendants Katherine Krueger, a reporter for Gizmodo’s political site Splinter, and Will Menaker, the host of the popular leftist podcast Chapo Trap House. (Menaker was dropped from the suit in the weeks after the deposition).

Everyone in Trumpworld is damaged goods. Everyone.

Update:
I left out the best parts:

The May deposition details Miller’s multiple extramarital affairs, including his sexual relationships with two subordinates during the 2016 presidential campaign. His relationship with one of these women, former Trump campaign advisor A.J. Delgado, has been public knowledge since late 2016. But Miller provided new information on a second affair with Catherine Frazier, who worked as a press secretary for Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign during Miller’s time leading the candidate’s communications operation. The affairs occurred while his wife, Kelly Miller, was pregnant and the two were not legally separated.

Racism is, sad to say, prevalent here in Czech Republic. Aside from anti-Muslim bigotry, which waxes and wanes, there is of course anti-Roma bigotry and of course, OMG BLACK PEOPLE!!!, at least outside of Prague and Brno.

And of course, there’s always an under-the-surface, thinly-veiled anti-Semitism too.

Czechs can certainly be quite bigoted……and they love nothing more than to complain endlessly about everyone and everything.

I just had a sewer guy come out to look at the portion of my sewer line that belongs to the city, just after it exits my property. There’s a partial blockage that he cleaned out enough so that I can function - if I don’t use too much TP.

The city doesn’t allow their sewer system to be repaired. I have to hire someone to replace it, give the city the bill, and then pay the city back either right away or over 10 years max at 5.5% interest. The work will cost in the neighborhood of $20,000 plus.

They’ll also have to dismantle the 5’ tall retaining wall along the property line (I sit way up above the street). I figure that will add another $5,000+ to the bill. There is only about four feet between my house and the property line, so it’s going to be a mess trying to find a route for the new sewer line, and there’s no way to reroute it inside the house. This is going to be awful.

The only remotely OK news about this is that I will be able to use money from my deferred comp retirement account to pay for this. It’s taxable, so I have to take out an extra 20% to pay taxes on the money, but it beats being stuck with a $2000/mo. bill from the city for ten years.

I’m retiring in less than a year. I can probably afford the hit to the retirement account (I’ve got a state pension + SS), but I’m probably going to have to get my car to last for another 10 years, and my safety cushion is now pretty much shot. This sucks. I feel like walking away from my house right now.

re: #90 Decatur Deb

Might be worth a couple hundred to determine how hard and fast that is.

It’s hard and fast. The city is pretty anal about it. I just wonder how they’re going to deal with how close I am to the property line. I do have a name that I can try to call in the public works department to find out what to do. I got the name in 2006 so I hope he’s still there.

How will the super patriots spin this? I was told there are no ex marines and they leave no one behind. I guess they’re lying sacks of shit.

‘he used fake dox to get into the marines’ (this is true and the marines knew it)
he missed his first hearing (he claims he didnt get the notification)

and they’ll claim these two things are so heinous, he’s a perpetual, vicious (sorry) criminal

So sad. Honestly. The Marines put themselves up as being so honorable. But then General Kelly is the best of the lot if rank means merit.

Go to the car wash…. get your oil changed, and dump your car in the Hackensack River. Woot.

[Embedded content]

I’ve been past that location in the past. This isn’t the first car that’s ended up in the river either. Another car did the same thing a few years back.

I cannot believe there are not barriers there. That seems like it was meant to have people wind up in the river.

Maybe a Sopranos run carwash where easy river access is seen as a asset of the location?

Probably some House rulebook: Interesting: I noticed several of the provisions prohibiting referring to the President as “racist” date back to late in President Obama’s last term (though most seem to be from 2017: and, needless to add, were put in during Republican control of the House)
